Don't Go

Oh, don't go, but, wait you are not here
I guess in my heart you never leave
Though in this world you don't appear
Not seeing you, only left to grieve.

Don't go, honey,  let my dreams be
Or else in them please let me see your face
If here such beauty I cannot see
It does not matter in what realm you embrace.

Can you please stay around long enough to hold
And not let my imagination your absence cover?
Now you give what the best love stories have told
I will sacrifice all to know you as my lover.

I still have to accept that these entreaties won't do
Unless before me I see you plain
For if you go this place empty without you
Don't go honey, I don't want to feel such pain.
