Truest Place

She must have only lived in one of life’s dreams
That could not have been given birth in the light of day
A still born world where happiness not as it seems
And then better to sleep so she, again, can come my way.

But, this is the realm that the cosmos gave birth
So why not here that such a dream come true?
For there is nothing of more value than love’s worth
And that can only happen if I am here with you.

So, why should I reply on dreams or Heaven’s gate
To enter so that your beauty can embrace?
When I live in a world where my love shouldn’t wait
Born of a spirit divine you, here, find your truest place.
