Empty Love

Okay, I love you, I have to admit
While I feel the coming cold
Where winter gives no respite
Except if I have you to hold.

But, I realize this is not to be
So, the cold season gives no reprieve
And only in dreams lie with me
While in the morning you will leave.

Now, here I am with this empty love
Without you how will I do?
Except that only loneliness prove
If I am not alongside of you.

How empty to admit this love I feel
A happiness I cannot know
What in the world most real
My heart won’t show.
