No Need for Night

Where did I see you before but in a dream?
Then you appeared to me the day not conceal
Now nothing is as it may, at first, seem
For from a dream learned what is real.

Now I live in a dream every waking day
To have the one, herre, whose love proves to me
As I stroke her hair Heaven comes my way
And on this Earth we know by such ecstasy.

So, now this place a dream and no need for night
For you live here and, for me, that is all
As long as you are in this world's sight
I do not need the night to call.
