Even Worth Living

So now that you have left me I am too numb to feel
And afterwards will come the pain
Right now nothing seems real
Except not seeing you again.

But sleep is coming and, so, my dreams
Maybe there you will reappear
But the morning will show the sun’s beams
And you will not be here.

I don’t know how such loss will affect me
Except an empty place you once made full
And tomorrow where, you, will not see
In a world you made wonderful.

I don’t know how I can face such a day
Without the love you kept giving
Knowing you are not there to guide the way
Now I wonder if it is even worth living.
