Forever Know

I looked up at the stars tonight
Wondering if you were there
Then, looking around, I saw your light
And realized Heaven is everywhere.

And I saw a star brighter than the rest
The others highlighting its boudoir
For such beauty they could only attest
And prove love can never be too far.
The day can be too short and the night long
But after the day is done to it will go
Then in the deepest reaches to you belong
And what shared briefly here forever know.
