Heaven's Rehearsal I hear Time will let your memory forget Then why, in my dreams, you appear? And, each day, they are stronger yet Even though I awake and you are not here. *** I will live and nothing your memory erase In each day I may not see you but still How can I forget how tender our embrace How we bent this world to our will? """" So, I am faced with these days so lonely With your presence our passion will remind And though you are not here for me A comfort to what our love once did find. **** This is the best I can do to mask my sorrow That these lines mock Time and our love preserve For it does not matter I don’t see you tomorrow For our love here is the rehearsal Heaven serve.
