RETRO FUTURISTS RECLAIM VIENNA UNVEIL HUGE NEW SINGLE “CHANGE THE ECHO”
CHANGE THE ECHO (Single)
RELEASE DATE – 27th March ‘20
LABEL - 42s Records
Ambitious Electronic Indie-Pop band RECLAIM VIENNA release their first single of 2020 via 42s Records and it is MASSIVE!
“Retro Futurists”, they stand out from the crowd of the resur-gent Manchester music scene - their unique, 80’s influenced, yet fresh blend of uplifting synth loops, catchy guitar hooks, stomping beats and anthemic pop choruses contains echoes of Mancunian heavyweights New Order and Slow Readers Club juxtaposed with the retro pop flavours of the likes of Erasure, Yazoo and Duran Duran. This makes for a fantastic live spectacle which has built the band a loyal fanbase, with all their recent live shows selling out well in advance. Writer and guitarist Danny Smith: “Change the Echo was written with my twin brother and bandmate Ryan. It’s about the temptations of life - Am I truly content with where I am and who I am. Have I done the right things previously that led me to where I am today? Where do I go from here? How do I make the change? Pretty emotional man. We think this is our best work to date, capturing what we aim for - good time music for the dancefloor - nightclub music with a pop twist, that makes people come alive”
