Sonnet 351 (Only Come from You)
What sound I hear that whispers in the air?
An angel's voice that found an earthly ear
So sweet I need not climb to Heaven's stair
For with such chords is Heaven singing here.
Yet, 'round I look and nothing do I see
A spirit, then, must be the reason why
I cannot touch but yet envelops me
My cares erase and draws from me a sigh.
The trees before such melody do dance
The river's flow reflects its rhythmic sound
That nature bends and shakes to such romance
Now, on this earth, my blissful essence found.
And now I realize these notes are true
For what I hear can only come from you.
