Sometimes there is music takes you to the edge, and sometimes it goes there regardless of the listeners participation. Sometimes it is the unpleasant aspects of our own mortality that take us to the edge, and the experience becomes more personal and dramatic, especially when we survive. Both have an emotional effect which is either reflected upon or allowed to pass with our memories of the experience. In actuality, there is music which does both, and compels one to pay attention to both the experience, and the reactions to the experience. In my opinion that is the transcendence of the music which you, dr. mange, populate your funeral riot setlists with. We are compelled to pay attention, to reflect and maybe even to dance in our own individual dark celebrations of that which is this mortal coil...from start to finish, only to start again. Others might not understand, but really, maybe its better that way. Like we gave a F*** anyway.... Cheers M
