Chloraseptic

Chloraseptic And when Heaven decided to let me go I believe it let me land at the wrong place The world where peace and happiness would know Instead, such misery and loneliness here face. But, here I am, an alien in a foreign land Alienated and, even in its thriving throngs, alone This place seems too strange to even take a stand This struggle only worthwhile if you feel at home. Reminded every day that here I don’t belong All the division, discord and hate to which I can’t relate Where unity, peace and love found I long My time is too short, here, for even their promise wait. And, yet, the love I need have still found here Perhaps this was the place destined to be For all my doubts and misery before you disappear And no better world than when you’re lying next to me.
